Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts to ensure roadworthiness
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates and delays
- Adhere to strict delivery timelines and customer service standards
- Complete mandatory training for safety and equipment certifications
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning
- Strong time management and communication skills
- DOT medical certificate current or obtainable within 30 days
