Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across Chicagoland routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care using various equipment
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
- Familiarity with Chicago area routes and traffic patterns
