Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) for long-haul deliveries across Georgia and Southeastern states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Accurately document trip logs, delivery receipts, and incident reports
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch team and clients
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Represent our company with professionalism and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass federal DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Georgia roadways and Southeastern routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
