Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles over regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and paperwork
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Deliver freight on time with zero damage incidents
- Maintain clean driving record and professional conduct
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with hazmat tanker endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of Texas road networks
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends
