Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated California routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate proactively with dispatch
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize routes and resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Flexibility for overnight stays and weekend shifts
