Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes within Indiana
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain precise time records
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Maintain electronic logging compliance (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Uphold FMCSA safety standards and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Indianapolis metro area routes
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
