Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial trucks for weekend deliveries across the Seattle metro area
- Pre-trip inspections and maintenance documentation to ensure DOT compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and inventory tracking systems
- Maintain professional communication with clients and warehouse personnel
- Adhere to all safety protocols and HAZMAT handling procedures when applicable
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Seattle area traffic patterns and delivery routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts
