Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and maintain strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient delivery scheduling
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Resolve delivery exceptions and maintain customer relationships
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/local driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible schedules
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
