Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional delivery routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and logistics teams to coordinate schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 6 months.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor tasks.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
