Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on regional routes across Arizona and neighboring states
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous electronic logs
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load delivery and pickup
- Implement defensive driving techniques in diverse weather conditions
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and on-time delivery
- Document all transportation activities and incidents accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HAZMAT regulations (certification a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Southwest regional geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
