Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logging
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery timelines
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Document all transport activities and handle paperwork efficiently
- Utilize advanced GPS navigation systems for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb into trailer beds
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of Houston metro area and Southeastern US routes
