Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Plan and execute efficient delivery schedules while maintaining timely arrivals
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Secure and verify cargo to ensure compliance with transportation standards
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route navigation and real-time updates
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Willingness to travel overnight and work flexible schedules
