Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timing
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Report maintenance issues and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- No prior trucking experience necessary (paid training provided)
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license permit
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Must be 21+ years old with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain CDL within 90 days of hire
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and paperwork
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to travel overnight (home daily available)
