Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting
- Plan optimal delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate electronic logging (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment usage
- Represent company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong geographical knowledge of NC and surrounding states
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular schedules
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
