Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Deliver freight to designated locations in Houston, TX, and California routes.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and protected during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and drug screen on file.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and loading cargo.
- Willingness to travel to California and other regional destinations.
- Reliable work history and a strong commitment to punctuality.
