Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans on regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as required.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and daily logs.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding status updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is mandatory.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Familiarity with cargo securement procedures and safety regulations.
