Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local/regional freight delivery
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and logging
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Charlotte metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including weekends/evenings
- HAZMAT certification preferred
