Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans within a local delivery area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily logs in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service when delivering goods to clients.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
