Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using provided equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills using GPS systems
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for occasional weekend/holiday shifts
