Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on scheduled routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with ELD systems and route navigation
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for overnight and weekend routes when required
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
