Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes while optimizing fuel consumption and delivery timelines
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Secure cargo properly and ensure compliance with all industry standards
- Document delivery receipts and resolve any transit discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication abilities and customer service mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
