Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on designated regional routes while adhering to FMCSA regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance requirements
- Plan efficient delivery schedules while maintaining real-time communication with dispatch
- Secure and verify cargo using proper loading/unloading techniques and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Participate in continuous safety training and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with clean MVR record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) operation
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
