Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across Florida
- Plan optimal routes and maintain strict delivery schedules
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post-trip documentation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo and handle loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate electronic logging system records
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong navigation skills and route planning ability
- Flexibility for regional and overnight routes
- High school diploma or equivalent required
