Responsibilities
- Define and execute the comprehensive technical roadmap for the 2026 Horizon initiative, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the architectural design of scalable AI infrastructure, focusing on LLM integration and edge computing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including Product, Engineering, and Executive leadership—to translate strategic goals into technical specifications.
- Oversee the R&D pipeline for emerging technologies, identifying high-impact opportunities for the 2026 product suite.
- Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Evaluate and integrate third-party AI APIs and proprietary models to enhance system capabilities.
- Ensure system security, ethical AI compliance, and scalability in high-stakes environments.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML systems design.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technical initiatives with multi-million dollar budgets.
- Deep expertise in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar machine learning frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with strategic forecasting and roadmap planning in a fast-paced, startup environment.
