Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all shipments and deliveries
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and route efficiency
- Ensure all cargo is securely loaded and unloaded according to safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of defensive driving techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
