Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 market readiness
- Lead research initiatives in emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR)
- Translate complex scientific concepts into executive-level business strategies
- Collaborate with product teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Deliver keynote presentations at industry conferences and publish thought leadership
- Build and manage a global network of academic and industry innovation partners
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and technologists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotechnology convergence
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
