- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends and opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum AI, synthetic biology, decentralized systems)
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions aligned with future market demands
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build cross-functional innovation labs with external partners (MIT, NASA, WHO)
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future-proofing business models
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of implementing future-oriented strategies with measurable ROI
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, climate tech
- Strong data visualization and scenario modeling capabilities (Python, Tableau)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on transformational change
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., ACFS preferred)
