Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop long-term strategic scenarios using predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
- Author thought leadership reports on emerging paradigms (e.g., AGI governance, climate tech)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Monitor global policy/regulatory landscapes affecting emerging tech adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AI)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience facilitating executive-level strategic planning sessions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-focused initiatives
- Strong proficiency in data visualization and forecasting tools
