Based in Austin's dynamic tech ecosystem, you'll lead cross-functional teams to identify paradigm shifts across technology, society, and markets. Your insights will directly influence multi-year investment decisions and innovation pipelines for global leaders.
Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative and qualitative future scenario models for 2026+ horizons
- Present strategic foresight briefings to C-suite executives and boards
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives across AI, biotech, and climate tech domains
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on systemic risk and opportunity mapping
- Produce annual Future State reports with predictive trend analysis
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight frameworks for client organizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven experience developing scenario planning frameworks for C-level audiences
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation domains
- Experience with Delphi method and horizon scanning methodologies
