You'll present compelling scenarios to stakeholders while building an innovation ecosystem that turns foresight into market leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish biannual '2026 Horizon Scan' reports analyzing emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish early-warning systems for disruptive threats and opportunities in target markets
- Design and execute scenario-planning frameworks for 5-year strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain an external intelligence network with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present future-state narratives to executive teams and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future concepts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
