Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, and climate-positive innovation
- Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and designers to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (NFTs, Web3, AGI) and translate insights into strategic opportunities
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant writing and investor presentations
- Mentor junior futurists and build external partnerships with academic institutions
- Author thought leadership publications on tech's societal impact for Forbes/MIT Tech Review
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in tech R&D with proven track record of launching commercial innovations
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) or major conference proceedings
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and predictive modeling frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of 2026+ technology roadmaps or innovation frameworks
- Validated experience securing $5M+ in government/private research funding
