Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and specialized hauling equipment on construction sites and public roads
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload materials at job sites with precision and efficiency
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Navigate complex urban and construction environments in Irvine metro area
- Coordinate with site supervisors and dispatch teams for optimal workflow
- Document daily operations and submit required paperwork electronically
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years commercial dump truck experience
- Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT physical/drug screening
- Familiarity with Orange County roadways and construction zones
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Advanced knowledge of load securement techniques
- Proven safety record with zero preventable accidents
