Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for AI infrastructure, specifically targeting breakthrough capabilities by 2026.
- System Design: Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure distributed AI systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of AI advancements (LLMs, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning) and evaluate their applicability to our product suite.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to translate complex AI concepts into actionable product features.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all AI implementations adhere to strict ethical guidelines, data privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA), and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in designing large-scale AI systems.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of leading technical strategy and architecture for complex, multi-year projects.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with a focus on rapid iteration and delivery.
