Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D graphics, animations, and interactive elements using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL (2D context).
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure smooth 60fps animations across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Create reusable, modular JavaScript libraries and components for complex 2D interactions and visual effects.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate high-fidelity mockups into precise, pixel-perfect code.
- Debug complex rendering issues and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in both desktop and mobile environments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web graphics technologies and implement best practices for accessibility and responsive design.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a strong focus on 2D graphics and animation.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of the HTML5 Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and CSS3 animations.
- Experience with 2D game engines or animation libraries such as PixiJS, Phaser, GreenSock (GSAP), or Anime.js.
- Strong mathematical background, particularly in geometry and trigonometry, for calculating movement and physics.
- Experience with WebGL (Three.js or Babylon.js) for 2D/2.5D rendering is a significant plus.
