Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 60-foot school bus on designated routes in the Louisville Metro area.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus, maintaining order and safety on the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding route changes or student concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and school transportation safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to obtain a Kentucky CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Pass a thorough background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Excellent customer service skills and patience when dealing with students.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
