Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly conduct and safety protocols on bus
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and district routes
- Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and dispatch
- Document transportation incidents and maintenance needs
- Assist students with special needs as required
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean MVR record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass background check and DOT physical
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Child CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience working with children/teens required
