Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips following strict safety protocols
- Pre-trip vehicle inspections and daily maintenance checks
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with students, parents, and school staff
- Adhere to precise schedules and traffic regulations
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate transportation records
- Ensure proper student loading/unloading procedures at all stops
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and school administration
Qualifications
- Valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus (S) endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass federal background check and DOT physical examination
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage student behavior calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of Atlanta metro area routes and traffic patterns
- High school diploma or equivalent required
