Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on local and regional routes in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured and handled with care.
- Interact professionally with customers, taking orders and resolving delivery issues on-site.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and digital records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of handheld computers or delivery management systems.
- Strong customer service and time management skills.
