Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles across designated Oakland routes
- Load/unload cargo with precision and care (max 50 lbs)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Optimize routes for efficiency and on-time delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to navigate Oakland's diverse neighborhoods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic inventory management abilities
- Background check and drug screening clearance
- Professional communication in English/Spanish a plus
