Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to commercial and residential clients across Houston metropolitan area
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure operational safety
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures/confirmations
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professional demeanor and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with route familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Proficiency with digital route planning and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills and ability to adhere to strict schedules
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Houston traffic patterns and delivery zones preferred
