Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and navigate Fort Worth metro routes efficiently
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time updates
- Document delivery discrepancies and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Strong knowledge of Fort Worth geography and surrounding areas
- Basic mechanical aptitude for vehicle troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
