Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods on established routes throughout Boston and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and inventory records using our digital tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including unloading assistance and order verification
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and resolve delivery exceptions
- Assist with warehouse duties including inventory management and order preparation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Boston metropolitan area geography and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking applications
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Food handling certification preferred
- Background check and drug screen required
