Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products on assigned routes
- Plan efficient daily routes to meet delivery schedules and fuel efficiency goals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload cargo with proper lifting techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
