Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to residential and commercial locations
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Austin area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills for route planning software
- Background check and drug screen required
