Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to riders across Philadelphia
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained vehicle that meets all safety standards
- Utilize the PhillyRide app to accept trips, navigate routes, and communicate with riders
- Track and report vehicle maintenance issues promptly
- Complete required background checks and documentation processes
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and PhillyRide service guidelines
- Optimize earnings by strategically positioning in high-demand areas during peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 1 year of driving experience
- Smartphone (iOS or Android) with reliable data connection
- Personal vehicle model year 2010 or newer with 4 doors
- Passionate customer service mindset and Philadelphia knowledge
- Ability to pass background check and vehicle inspection
- Basic smartphone app proficiency
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends
- No major moving violations in the past 3 years
