Responsibilities
- Secure Transport: Safely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals to and from medical facilities in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.
- Cold Chain Management: Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments for sensitive medical materials using certified coolers and monitoring devices.
- Documentation: Accurately complete and submit electronic delivery logs, manifests, and proof-of-delivery forms via our remote-friendly mobile application.
- Vehicle Care: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and operational.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations regarding the handling of patient information and sensitive medical data.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with hospital staff and clients, ensuring a positive experience during every pickup and delivery.
Qualifications
- Driving Record: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 7 years).
- Experience: Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a logistics role is preferred but not mandatory; training provided.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and time management. The ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
