Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC systems in hybrid-cloud environments
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Architect cryogenic cooling infrastructure supporting sub-10mK operating temperatures
- Optimize quantum-classical data pipelines for real-time analytics at petabyte scale
- Lead security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography implementation
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum systems engineering best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS + 5yrs experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Deep knowledge of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) implementation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Certification in AWS/Azure quantum cloud services
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading $5M+ infrastructure projects
