Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware prototypes
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in federal research grants and partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum circuit design
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and entanglement
- Experience securing DOE/NASA research grants
- Patent portfolio in quantum technology (preferred)
