Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate quantum decoherence challenges
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural networks
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2021-2023 graduates)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming with Qiskit or Cirq
- Published research in quantum error correction or topology
- Expertise in quantum annealing and superconducting qubit systems
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing
- Experience securing DOE or NSF quantum research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
