Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead a team of 8+ quantum physicists and software engineers in hardware-software co-design
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum hardware startups and academic institutions
- Publish 3+ high-impact papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum security protocols for 2026-era blockchain infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants ($500k+ awards)
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Knowledge of quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
